Friday Night Yoga Nidra Deep Rest for Sleep

Deep Rest for Sleep, A Reset Before the Weekend

If your body and mind are tired, this is for you.

Friday night Yoga Nidra is the kind of rest we usually only feel after a few days away, without having to go anywhere.

This is a guided, fully supported practice designed to help your nervous system slow down, your body release tension, and your mind settle naturally.

You don’t need to stretch.
You don’t need to do anything “right.”
You simply lie down, get cozy and let me guide you to rest.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative, guided rest practice that supports the nervous system to move out of stress mode and into true recovery.

Unlike meditation or movement-based yoga, Yoga Nidra is done lying down, fully supported with props and blankets.
The body rests. The breath softens. The nervous system downshifts.

Many people describe it as:

  • feeling deeply held

  • a sense of floating or weightlessness

  • rest that feels timeless and effortless

It’s common to leave feeling clearer, calmer, and more settled, with sleep coming more easily that night.

What to expect on the night

We’ll create a quiet, supportive space where your body can truly let go.

  • You’ll be guided into a comfortable resting position

  • Props are used to support the body fully

  • Gentle verbal guidance leads the nervous system into deep rest

  • The session finishes slowly, so you leave grounded and ready for bed

You’ll leave:

  • calm and clear

  • ready for sleep

  • energised and steady for the weekend ahead

Who this is for

This session is ideal if you:

  • feel mentally or physically tired

  • struggle to fully switch off at the end of the week

  • want better sleep without forcing relaxation

  • are craving real rest, not stimulation

No experience needed.
Suitable for all bodies.
